Loving Lord, we know the love you have for us. We hear your call and answer you with open hearts, ears, and minds. Hear our prayers we bring before you.
We pray to grow more faithful every day and to foster all we can to contribute to the union of all believers in Christ and to reinvigorate our call to the needs of others.
We pray for all those living in war torn situations and the many people and families displaced. May peace prevail and global communities come together to provide support and aid to those afflicted.
As EU scientists warn that 2025 was the third-warmest year on record, we pray for our common home. May world leaders, politicians and local communities act with care and attention to prioritise climate action to safeguard planet earth.
We pray for children that are in hospital and facing serious medical conditions. We ask the Holy Spirit to journey with them and their parents and console them with the gifts of peace, hope and love. We pray for God’s healing and give thanks to the skilful medical staff attending children’s wards.
We pray for those that are currently undergoing cancer treatment. May the Holy Spirit reside within them to give them the courage to face each day with renewed hope. We pray for all those that are suffering.
