Loving Lord, in the midst of the storms and uncertainties of life you call us to be aware of your presence and to trust in your care. We bring before you the needs of the Church and of the
We remember all those who are caught up in war and violence, especially in Ukraine, the Holy Land, Sudan and other troubled regions. May those with power and influence choose dialogue over conflict, and peace above political and personal interests.
Let us pray for creation. As communities across the world face the effects of extreme weather and environmental change, may governments, businesses and individuals act with greater responsibility towards the earth we share.
In our prayers we remember healthcare workers, carers, emergency services personnel and all those who place themselves at the service of others. May they be sustained in their work and appreciated for all they do.
We pray for our own communities. As schools and colleges reach the end of the academic year and many young people are thinking about their future, may they be supported and encouraged in their choices.
We lift before the Lord those who are sick, those awaiting treatment, those who live with anxiety, loneliness or grief, and all those nearing the end of earthly life. We remember those who have died, especially members of our families and parish community.
God our Father, you know our needs and hear our prayers. Receive these and those we hold in our hearts, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
