Loving Lord, pour your spirit upon us, let your light shine out of us. Help us to remember the importance of our ministry in proclaiming your Good News. Hear our prayers we bring before you.
Help us to be inspiring leaders, be that in our family life, work or parish. Help us to lead with love.
We continue to pray for peace in our troubled world. We think of those that have lost so much; livelihoods, homes, communities and loved ones. May world leaders act to find a path to peace.
As the modern world becomes ever nosier with social media, AI and digital distractions, we pray to continue to come together to create meaningful dialogue and human closeness.
As sunnier weather brightens our spring, we pray to appreciate and absorb the natural world around us. Help us ground ourselves in the great outdoors, help us to seek and discover beauty in the smallest of things.
We pray for those that don’t feel enough. May they remember they are children of God and are loved more than they can impossibly imagine. Help us to navigate difficult times through talking, understanding and raising people up.
This Pentecost, we pray to be a witness to the Holy Spirit in our own lives. Help us to recognise our unique gifts, help us to be truly present in all things and help us to bring ourselves more readily to God.
Heavenly King, as we gather today, we recognise the dwelling of the Holy Spirit in all of us which equips, guides, and sustains us throughout our lives. Amen.
