Lord of hope, you promised to make your home in our hearts. Confident of your love, we bring you our prayers, hopes and dreams.
We pray for people of all religions and none. May they strive to be at home with each other in understanding and compassion.
We pray for those who are homeless through warfare and violence. May peace be a priority for our world and may everyone experience the dignity and respect that they deserve as children of a loving God.
We pray for families, teachers and students during the exam season. May the Holy Spirit fill them with wisdom, especially when they feel under most pressure.
We pray for our Church and parish communities. May we be a place of welcome, homecoming and acceptance to anyone who needs our love.
We pray for anybody who is making big changes in life. May they find the encouragement and support that they need.
We pray for everyone who has recently lost a loved one. May they be comforted and may the one who has died be living the new life of Easter in their heavenly home.
Lord God, you are our life and our hope, our joy and our companion through all of life’s ups and downs. Be with us. Stay with us. Help us to celebrate your love forever and always. Amen.
