We celebrate the work of the food bank and its volunteers. We pray that you bless all those who give and all those who receive. Amen
Surround the elderly and housebound with your deep love and let them feel your presence. Grant them renewed strength in body, mind, and spirit, and fill their hearts with peace and joy. Thank you for the carers who brighten the days with kindness and practical support. Bless their work and help us support them with justice and compassion. Amen
Heavenly Father, we pray for all who are suffering with illness, and for people who need our prayers at this time, especially those known personally to us. We pray, also, for those who have died and may be known only to you. Help those who mourn their loved ones to experience the comfort of your Holy Spirit. Amen
We pray that all students and the children of this parish are safe whilst at school, college or university. Watch over their mental health. Lift up teachers, head teachers, and support staff for their wisdom, strength, and patience. Intercede for school governors and leadership teams as they make operational and financial decisions. Amen
Guide our steps over the coming week. Give us wisdom in our decisions, clarity in our thinking, and patience in times of uncertainty. Where there is stress, grant us your peace. Where there is fatigue, renew our strength. Open our hearts to notice the needs of those around us. Help us to speak words of kindness, to offer encouragement, and to reflect your love in our homes, workplaces, and in our community. Amen
