Loving Lord, today we come to you to seek shelter, knowing you give us true rest. Help us to embrace the suffering of others and guide them, also, to you. Hear our prayers we bring before you.
We pray for the people of Ukraine as Russia launched its largest attached on its capital, Kyiv. We pray for the residential communities, families and children that have lost so very much.
We pray for those facing personal crisis, those dwelling in the shadows. May the Holy Spirit help draw them into the light, provide calm counsel and clarity of thought so they can move forward positively, in hope.
We pray for those undergoing cancer diagnosis and treatment. May the Holy Spirit provide them with courage in moments of fear, comfort in moments of pain and peace in moments of rest.
We pray for all those studying and working in education. As the summer holiday approaches, may teachers enjoy rest and rejuvenation, and students enjoy a summer of success and excitement.
We pray to be kind to ourselves. Let us view ourselves through the kind eyes of God, let us remember how very much he loves us, just as we are. Help us to be the best version of ourselves, today and always.
Heavenly Father, help us to be gentle and humble in heart and inclusive to all, through your name. Amen.
