We are called to model our lives on the Saints so that where they are we may one day be. We bring our prayers to the Lord and ask all the Saints of heaven to pray for us.
We pray for all priests, deacons and religious. We ask that through their faithfulness they will see God face to face.
We pray for world leaders and those in positions of power that they might be merciful and receive the mercy of God.
We pray for those who campaign and work to bring about justice and fairness in society – we ask that they might be satisfied. We pray for the peacemakers around us may they know they are children of God.
We pray for those who feel caught in the darkness of loss or depression: that God may comfort them and lead them to peace and serenity.
Heavenly King, guide us to witness seeing you in all we do as we help to bring your spirit to the world. Amen.
