Loving Lord, we know the love you have for us. We hear your call and answer you with open hearts, ears, and eyes. Hear our prayers we bring before you.
For the first time, global warming has exceeded 1.5C across an entire year, according to the EU’s climate service. We pray world leaders will continue to try to limit the long-term temperature increase which is crucial to help avoid the most damaging impacts of climate change.
We pray for all those living in war torn situations and the many people and families displaced. May peace prevail and global communities come together to provide support and aid to those afflicted.
As UK weather warnings are issued across the UK, we pray for all those that are vulnerable and isolated. May they receive the help and support they need and know they are not alone.
As A&E waiting times increase and more people are currently waiting more than 18 months to start routine hospital treatment, we pray for our NHS, its medical staff, and paramedics. May the Holy Spirit comfort and restore those that are suffering and bless and protect those tending to their care.
