Come, Holy Spirit, we are waiting for you to fill our hearts and light the fire of your love. Hear our prayers we bring before you.
We pray upon the international community to promote dialogue and “to spare no effort to ensure that dialogue might prevail, and the suffering of the population might be alleviated.”
This Pentecost Sunday, we pray to embrace and nurture the Holy Spirit within our hearts and minds.
As food costs continue to rise, we pray for all those that are struggling to put food on their table. We particularly think of families with many mouths to feed.
We pray for all those trapped in modern slavery, may they see hope for the future and an end to their confines.
We pray that scientists developing AI do so with responsibility to ensure it does not pose a risk to humanity.
We pray for a moment for our own personal petitions…
Lord Jesus, help us to be witnesses of the transformation you make in our lives. Keep us open to your “power” and ready to do what you ask of us. Amen
