Heavenly King, just as Jesus grew and became strong, he was filled with wisdom and the grace of God. Help us to grow throughout this coming year and be nourished by our faith with insight and mercy.
We pray for the faithful to “ask Jesus for peace” this Christmastime, and let us think about Palestine, Israel, and Ukraine all of which are suffering so much.
As the birth of Jesus fills our hearts with love, let us pray for all families this Christmas. May their time together be filled with love and happiness; may they grow together creating memories to cherish forever.
We pray for all those that are feeling depressed and lonely this Christmastime, as the New Year approaches let us reach out to those in need and help light their path.
We pray that 2024 brings each of us much peace and contentment, let us step into the New Year mindful of our role as Christians and spread hope and joy to those we meet.
As 2023 comes to a close we give thanks for all that has been bestowed on us. We pray that the worries and concerns, that have blighted our mind this year, will be put to rest.
Loving Lord, thank you for guiding and lighting our way. You have brought much joy to the world in the birth of your son. Help us to grow with the values of Jesus this year. Amen.
