Come, Lord Jesus, and do not delay! Maybe travel together on our Advent journey, finding you in each person we meet.
We pray for Pope Francis. May he be restored to full health and continue to challenge the world to search for the light of truth.
We pray for the people in countries where peace is difficult to find. May the “still, small voice of calm” touch the hearts of those who inspire and sustain conflict rather than understanding and compassion.
We pray for all those involved in the climate conference in Dubai. May they work together to find practical and workable solutions to the threat of climate change so that everyone, everywhere, might cherish our beautiful world.
We pray for everyone who is searching for meaning in their lives. May this Advent season offer hope and direction.
We pray for all those who, for whatever reason, are struggling to survive. May they find the support that they need and reasons to smile.
We pray for all women who are expecting to give birth during this Advent and Christmas season. May Mary and Joseph feel very close to them and may the baby be born safely and into a loving family.
