CHINA TRAVELS. A slide show of Trish Fleetwood’s recent trip to China and Hong Kong in the Village Hall at 7.00 p.m. Just come to see the slides or stay afterwards for a Chinese meal. Cost of the meal, to include a glass of wine, – £5.00. Please book by Monday 10th for the meal.

TOWER OF LONDON. Visit the Tower of London. A possible trip down the river to Greenwich may be included. The approximate cost to include the Tower and coach will be £25.00, depending on numbers. Full details will be published nearer the time. 

MIDSUMMER’S DAY EVENING WALK . Start at 7.30 p.m. from opposite the White Horse and finish at the pub for a drink – or just meet the walkers there afterwards!

All are welcome to any of the events. But if you are not already a member, why not join the Friends of Hascombe? The aims of the Society are “to benefit the inhabitants of Hascombe and to safeguard and promote the amenities of the village”. The annual subscription is only £2.00 per person.
